Expectations & Policies

SFS Student Athlete Expectations

  • Maintain B average or above
  • It’s mandatory that athletes attend and participate in practice
  • Represent SFS and model good sportsmanship

SFS Family Expectations

  • Be kind to our officials, cheer loudly for SFS, avoid giving instructions during games, let the coaches coach
  • Please have players arrive 30 minutes before game time
  • If needed, arrange for early exit from school in order to arrive on time to away games
    • Carpooling is an excellent idea/coordinate with other parents
  • Communication - let me know if your player will miss, be late, or will need to leave early for any reason.  I will communicate with the coach of your player’s team. Text messages or phone calls work best.  Depending on the time of day, emails will be missed

SFS Uniform Policy

  • Uniforms should be cared for with the understanding that SFS will use them again in the future
  • As a SFS Student Athlete you agree to our Uniform Policy
    • Uniforms are ONLY for games
  • Do not lend your uniform to anyone
  • Each player will be issued a jersey prior to the first game
  • A fee will be assessed for missing or damaged uniforms
  • SFS Primary school colors are black, white, and maroon.  These are the only colors that should be visible on SFS players during competition.  This includes undershirts, hair bands, and socks.  Shoes are the only part of your uniform that can be off of the school colors.  Black socks are our standard color for each sport, but if EVERYONE on the team agrees to wear a particular matching color; that will be accepted.
  • SHORTS - must be BLACK and be an appropriate length for the player (not too long, not too short).  Families will provide shorts for players of the following sports: Flag Football-no pockets, Soccer, Track,  Ultimate, and Volleyball AND 5th/6th grade Basketball.
  • In order to play in a SFS Game - players must adhere to all of the above
